Seeing God in Others
Let’s take this moment to invoke the Presence of Spirit. It’s goodness, its light, its consciousness and its atmosphere of oneness. There is only one mind, one Source, and one life, And that is life as a spiritual being, as a loving being.
I affirm that we all come from this one source. We are inseparably one with the infinite Presence and Power.
I now speak my word for myself and for all, As I activate the power of unity. I respect others and realize that every person has a sincere desire to love and to be loved. I am kind to others and flexible enough to know that everyone does not have to think alike to get along. I overlook the irritations of life and the differences of opinion to find common ground and a united purpose. Every day, I have more and more tolerance, more understanding of the needs of others and a little deeper sympathy for others. I understand that in mastering these principles, I participate in the hope of humanity. I strive to be helpful and cooperative and to promote the well-being of everyone. I permit everyone to be a little different from myself. I seek to create a world where there is peace, prosperity and goodwill without coercion. I am seeking and finding love and friendship everywhere I go, in everyone I meet, and in every situation in which I find myself.
With a grateful heart, I express overwhelming thankfulness For more love, more kindness, more understanding and more compassion in my life. And so it is. Amen.
