Solving Homelessness

Solving Homelessness

Let’s take this moment to invoke the Presence of Spirit.

It’s goodness, its light, its consciousness and its atmosphere of peace.

There is only one mind, one Source, and one life,

And that is life as a Spiritual Being, As a loving Being.

I affirm that we all come from this one source.

We are inseparably one with the infinite Presence and Power.

I now speak my word for myself and for all.

As I align myself with the consciousness of compassion.

I set an intention of promoting safety and security in my community.

I envision universal education, employment, personal security, and affordable housing.

I am open to the idea of supportive housing that includes services that address mental health, disability, substance abuse as well as other issues.

I am open to an Interfaith Alliance that co-develops tiny home villages, using church lands, crowdfunding, governmental grants, and private grants.

I affirm that each city sees the value and quickly approves unique zoning permits for each village.

I replace fear with faith and disagreement with agreement.

I believe that urban faith communities help solve homelessness with the recognition that tiny home villages occupy just one-third of an acre.

I support the idea that Interfaith Alliances solve homelessness by getting this idea in front of hundreds of congregations.

I understand that we are all in this together for the safety, health and well-being of our community.

I appreciate the value of every individual to the completeness of the whole.

I am able to handle tension in life-giving ways.

I have a sense of my own personal value to the whole.

I have the capacity to create community.

I am able to discuss difficult issues around religion, sexuality, public policy, housing and political climate with grace.

I embrace race, ethnicity, nationality, gender, sexuality and housing status, with income and wealth inequality by recognizing and helping to create a more equitable and just society.

I have a deep knowing that God is within me and is always with me in my life.

I envision a broad, inclusive vision of the world with flexibility in considering other points of view.

I embrace a generous sharing of resources.

I remain flexible and adaptable.

And with the spirit of oneness, I seek to make this world a better place.

So, it is with a grateful heart, that I express overwhelming thankfulness for my own sense of peace, love,  kindness and  compassion in my life.

And so it is.

Amen

Embracing Safety

Embracing Safety

Let’s take this moment to invoke the Presence of Spirit.  It’s goodness, its light, its consciousness and its atmosphere of peace.

There is only one mind, one Source, and one life, And that is life as a spiritual Being, as a loving Being.

This universe is the glory of God.  It is a moving, flexible, fluidic creation.  It is alive with life, abundance and all the richness of God.

I express the deep knowledge that God is within me, and we all are inseparably one with the infinite Presence and Power.  I affirm that we all come from this one source.

I now speak my word for myself and for all, as I align myself with Spiritual Law and the principle of safety.

I trust myself and the knowledge and experience that is within me.

I am one with Divine Inspiration.

I count on the Universal Intelligence for guidance.

I trust my intuition in making safe choices.

I live my life moving in the divine current, as I use my Spiritual powers.

I use prayer to compose myself into quiet considerations and into action as needed.

I realize that my self-care is just as important as care for others.

I speak words of support and acceptance out loud for myself and for others.

I rest in peace and security.

So it is with a grateful heart, that I express overwhelming thankfulness for my own self-empowerment, for love, for kindness and for security in my life.

And so it is. Amen
